Home Sweet Denver

Kayla and I are slowly but surely settling into our new house!  We spent the entire day applying to jobs online and my head is spinning!  I really don't even remember what jobs I applied for today there were so many.  Most of them were bank jobs and a few odds and ends receptionist/assistant jobs.  I also applied for a few nanny jobs so I am hopeful that something will come through soon.

We are still lacking furniture but we are going to the thrift stores tomorrow to see what we can come up with.  Our roommate, Elizabeth Anne, has found some really great furniture at these shops and decorated our den with most of it!

Our furnace in the den!
The living room.  There are also skylights across this room too!
The backyard!
Entry way and door into the patio/den
Mine and Kayla's disaster room!
We absolutely love this house.  It is located in a very quiet neighborhood and it is really cute.  We sleep with the windows open in the house at night because it feels so wonderful here.  I can't remember the last time that I was able to do that!  We also leave them open during the day and it is so peaceful.

Tomorrow we both plan to apply for more jobs and we are going to check out an outlet store to hopefully get started on buying some gear for the upcoming ski season.  This weekend is the last weekend to buy season passes before the prices begin to increase so we are definitely going to do that, too!  There is actually a place out here about an hour away that a friend recommended to us that you are able to ski during this time of year.  I think we are going to try to check it out in a few days.

I hope that I have some more exciting news for you all very soon! Until then I will keep you updated on our daily adventures in the west.  :)
