I seem to have fallen off the blog wagon.. Sorry guys! So much has been going on lately its hard to even think of what I should tell you! First and most important, my temp agency has set me up with the job at Archstone! I start in the morning at 8AM (ouch) and will work through Wednesday so that they can determine if I would be a good fit for the company. How exciting and scary all at once! Since my last post I have had about 2 more interviews, but none have taken off like the Archstone interview (which went really well) and could possibly turn into my full-time job while I am here. This is really good for me, seeing as I have an unfortunate love affair with the R.E.I. mountain shop here. I am also very excited to have something to put on my resume for future job endeavors. :)
This weekend I hung out with some of our new friends in the Denver area. Most of them are from MS and we have all kind of stuck together since we have been here! Friday we cooked out at Alex and Chase's house and spent most of the night visiting and then we went downtown! Last night we watched the State game and at halftime we went to go get something to eat. We came across a barbecue place that originated in Yazoo City! Talk about some good food...
Kayla and I checked out the downtown area last night by ourselves but we were so exhausted from the weekend that we called it quits early and came home to go to sleep. Today I didn't do much but clean and try to get ready for tomorrow. Getting up at 6AM is going to be pretty painful, I haven't been up that early in ages! Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes while I was searching for work. I hope that this works out the way I'd like it too!
