I have finally (somewhat) finished my new room in my new house! I stalked the antique stores for days and found the perfect furniture! Although there is a lot more that I want to add to my room, it is perfect for me for now :)
Finally!
Mom is shipping me a few odds and ends on Monday so that I can have them for my room.
Love this dresser. All I need now is cable for my TV!
I bought this antique dresser for 80 dollars at a thrift store and it is in perfect condition. Not even the littlest scratch. I of course had to buy a humidifier too (which reminds me of Landrey because she is obsessed with elephants.) The dry air here has been driving me crazy but since I bought this it has been much more bearable! Redecorating has been fun for me. I love bedding and all that good stuff.
On another exciting note... I bought my very first pair of skis and poles yesterday at Sports Authority. Every year they host "Sniagrab", bargains spelled backwards, on Broadway. It is the largest skiing equipment and clothing clearance in the country. Kayla and I woke up at 7AM yesterday to make sure that we had our place in line. People were camping in the streets and along the sidewalks the night before. Apparently this was a really big deal! To our dismay the line was around the block but we stood in it anyways determined to get our hands on the clearance equipment. Once inside it was like a mad dash to see who could be the first to grab the best product so we raced around grabbing things and shoving them into our bags. The skis were marked down so much they were almost giving them away. So here they are:
Now if only it would snow..
That is all I have for you today! Still waiting on job calls and interviews. Keep the prayers coming!
