"You're the prettiest girl in the Deli"

Today was an amazing day in Jackson.  Danny woke us up early to take us to a local breakfast spot to have egg burritos and smoothies.  Everyone was working throughout today so Kayla and I decided to have an adventure of our own.  We drove about an hour to the Granite Falls and hot springs in the national park.  We climbed as far as we could to the water falls but to our surprise the water was very cold and we didn't stay very long!  This was also partly because of the many signs warning us of bears in the area.  Thank goodness we never saw a bear, but we were also interested in the idea!

After the waterfalls we decided to take our chances and ride the tram despite the bad weather.  It turned out to be perfect because it didn't rain on us once and Kayla got to see the view from the top of the mountain for the first time.  When we got back down to the base mountain we rode the gondola to the Bridger Gondola restaurant and had dinner.  We met an amazing couple from Florida who were actually in the same predicament that we were.  They were tired of being in the south and considering moving out west, and of course we encouraged them!

When we arrived back home from the Tetons we managed to convince Jesse and Ricky to come with us to the Brew Pub, a local bar and restaurant, that also houses the Snake River brewery.  We were there for a couple of hours and decided that we wanted to go swimming for our last night in Jackson.  We drove to the Antler Inn and walked right in to their swimming pool and hot tub.  They kicked us out around 11:00 and now we are safe and sound back at the apartment.  Tomorrow we plan to ride to the national park and finish our Jackson Hole "to do" list before we leave.  It has been a bittersweet week for us both and we are going to be very sad when we leave.

Danny, Jesse, and Ricky have been so kind to us since we arrived and I am already anticipating the day that I can return to Jackson.  I have felt at home here since the first time that I came here.  I think it's safe to say that a home in Jackson is in my future! The title is for Danny, because on our 6th trip to the grocery store, he has gone to the Deli every time and told the girl behind the counter that she is the prettiest thing he's ever seen.  Kayla and I think this is hilarious and we had to add this into our blog!

We love you all and hope to see you soon in Denver :)
