Rain, Rain, Go Away!

Hey guys!  Today it is rainy and dreary in Jackson Hole.  Jesse's birthday was a big success!  He loved dinner and once everyone else was off of work, we headed for the square.  We went to the Cowboy bar, Eleanor's and ended the night at the Virginian, but were sad to find that we had missed karaoke night!

Kayla woke up early to go to the farmer's market in the square and came home with all kinds of goodies!  For lunch we ate at a local restaurant that Ricky suggested to us and then we set off to look around at some of the local shops that we hadn't been in before.  When the rain let up we decided to go to the animal shelter and "adopt" a dog.  We picked Teddy out to be our friend for the day.  We walked him all around town and stopped to let him visit with other dogs in the square.  He is 2 years old and reminds me a lot of my brother's dog at home. They also had cats at the shelter for adoption and I love animals so I wanted to spend all day in there!  When we returned Teddy home we went to visit Danny at work and he made us two buffalo burgers, which were surprisingly really good!

We really wanted to go to the tram today and take a ride up the mountain but the weather was too bad.  Every time it rains here, it hails too!  We are now back at the apartment and probably going to take a nap since the weather is so awful.  I think tonight we are going to eat at Merry Piglets mexican restaurant and renting Drop Dead Fred, because our Wyoming friends have never seen it and it is one of mine and Kayla's favorite movies.

We are hoping for better weather tomorrow so that we can try to go to the hot springs again.  And of course, for our last night here, Danny is making us his special deep dish pizza from scratch... I can't wait!

We love you all!
