The first day of our adventure out west began today! I can't believe that it is already here and that we actually put this all together in such a short amount of time. This all started with a lot of "talk" about how we wanted to do something like this and make it work. I have wanted to live out west since I can remember my first time visiting Colorado... and who better to experience this with than my best friend, Kayla! Somehow she and I put our heads together and make these things happen, with no actual plan or organization.
So here we are now, in Elk City, OK, exhausted and ready to get some sleep before we hit the road again. When we got to the hotel, we told the staff we wanted the cheapest room that they had. Turns out, the room he wanted to put us in is "haunted" and one that many of their customers try to avoid. Needless to say, we are now in a different room! We are more than nervous (okay...terrified), excited, and anything else you can imagine. My heart hurts already for the family and friends that I am missing now, but I am so grateful to have the opportunity to do this! We wanted to make this blog to keep our family and friends updated and in the know! We love ya'll!
